I had considered a personal trainer before, but never acted upon it. When I found Shauna Harris of Stronger in GJ I decided to give it a try. I had quite a bit of weight to loose and I was not feeling good about my body. At our first workout, I broke down and cried because I couldn’t believe how much I had let myself go over the years. I was 48 at that first session and I wanted to become healthy and lean by age 50. Shauna was so kind and understanding and then encouraged me to look forward and not behind me. I never looked back after that first session. Shauna gave me the life changing boost and motivation that I needed to stick with it. She was positive, encouraging and she pushed me. When I needed to adjust my workout for whatever reason, she would listen to what my needs were and met my needs. I progressed tremendously and am on target to reach my goal on my 50th birthday. ABOUT ME & MY FAMILY
I live in Grand Junction with my family. Along with my husband, Josh and our 3 sons, we love being outdoors and camping, hiking, fishing, snowshoeing, swimming, biking and playing sports. I have been a runner my whole life as well as played many sports. Being a mother of three very active and demanding boys, I enjoy strength and conditioning training, kickboxing and mixed martial arts to keep me fit and active. My reason for doing what I do, is for my boys. I always want to be strong and set a healthy and positive example for them! I also just love to help people, it’s my passion to help every one of my clients reach their highest possible potential to live a healthy and fit life!
